The sobering thing to realize about our electeds is that they have no intention of doing anything about encampments, despite the fact that (a) a majority of citizens want encampments removed and (b) it is now entirely legal to compel campers to dispel, thanks to the Supreme Court’s Grants Pass decision.

We all noticed that Thao went into hiding immediately after that embarrassing, career-ending FBI raid. It was the best thing she could do: notoriously maladroit at public speaking, she only would have made things worse for herself had she been out there in the media, making a fool of herself.

Have you noticed how, no matter how many ways the Left hobbles police departments, they still manage to come up with new, more destructive ways of doing it?

The greatest quote I’ve ever read in the San Francisco Chronicle—the most truthful, anyhow—is this: “The [homelessness] problem is not going to be solved by building more housing.” It was San Francisco Mayor London Breed who said that. She added, “Thank goodness for the Supreme Court decision.”
