A deep stain on Oakland's reputation

I wasn’t surprised by this morning’s news, according to the Chronicle, that Sheng Thao has been indicted for her role in that nasty pay-for-play scandal. I knew she was guilty the second she declared her innocence on the T.V. I’ve never seen a shiftier face or lying eyes like that.

How embarrassing for the colleagues who stood beside her all the months she lied. I have particular sympathy for Floyd Mitchell. Thao has insulted his honor. But what she’s done to Oakland will be irreparable.

What a sleazeball! But that’s Oakland for you. The unions—no friends of honor—and the bureaucracy have been on the take for years. It could have been a big story, but our local news media declined to follow it. As long as their fellow wokes were in power, people like Darwin BondGraham and the front page pinko crew over at the Chronicle would never expose them. That’s the true tragedy: they have besmirched their so-called journalism and abetted this nefarious culture of corruption.

Well I have to keep this post short because I’m in a lot of pain. See you later.
