I’m super-pleased that the Georgia Attorney-General has indicted those lunatic cop-haters down in Atlanta for their domestic terrorism. In case you haven’t been following the story, the Atlanta Police Department wants to build a big new training center on city-owned land. Needless to say, Atlanta “progressives” immediately opposed it. Dubbing it “Cop City,” they picketed, rioted, demonstrated and organized to kill the project. Along the way, they resorted to violent anarchism—like throwing Molotov cocktails at cops, destroying parts of the center as it was being constructed, and establishing a so-called “autonomous zone” on the site.
"We're in an insurrection"
I was watching the local news last night about the robbery of a 7-Eleven. Caught on camera were the four hooded thieves, who rushed from a Honda, raided the store in less than a minute, and then took off. And the thought hit me: We’re in an insurrection.

The Chronicle really misses the Wood Street slum
The San Francisco Chronicle has never met a homeless encampment it didn’t love. In the case of the former Wood Street sprawl, the paper for years ran articles portraying it sympathetically, with articles praising its clinic, shared kitchens and community values, like it was some kind of Mayberry on the edge of town.
